THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 14, 1907, page 4, column 3. "Death of Bessie Walker - Bessie May Walker, daughter of C. F. and Mary J. Walker was born at Melbourne, Marshall co., Iowa, July 18 1885, and died of consumption at Glenwood, Iowa, February 8, 1907. The remains were shipped to Melbourne Saturday and the funeral was held Sunday, February 10th, from the old place near that city, conducted by Rev. A. W. Flora, of Maxwell."
