THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, March 5, 1970, page 1. "LOUELLA TOMLINSON - Funeral services for Mrs. Louella Tomlinson, 94, who passed away Wednesday night, were held on Saturday, Feb 28, at the Cooper Funeral Home, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Dale Ellsworth officiating. Mrs. Laura Pearson furnished the organ music. Mrs. Dorothy Hennick was in charge of the flowers. Casket bearers were Paul and Kenton Viers, Gene Bulkeley, Tiffin and Donald Tomlinson and Reuben Peterson. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Collins. Born Feb. 16, 1876, to parents, William and Mary Hall Warrell near Collins, she had been a resident of the Collins and Maxwell areas all of her life. Recently she had been living with her daughter in Des Moines. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include two sons, Forest of Des Moines and Howard of Walker, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Cleora Sedgwick of Des Moines and Mrs. Lenora Borts of Madrid; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Maude Tomlinson of Prairie City, also survives. Her husband preceded her in death in 1964."
