THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 28, 1935, page 4, column 3. "Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Clapper, of Baxter; Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Cool, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell, all of Farrar, attended the funeral of Lorin Tolles**, 77, at the Cory Grove church Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Cory Grove cemetery. Mr. Toles** was an uncle to the Cool and Holland families." **Editorial note - Tolles and Toles spellings were used in the original newspaper article.
