Services in Colfax For Patrick Sinnott

A requiem mass was said at the Immaculate Conception church at Colfax at 9 o'clock Monday morning, Feb. 19, for Patrick E. Sinnott of Colfax.

Interment was in the family lot in the Catholic cemetery at Nevada.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Pierce Sinnott, Patrick was born March 14, 1872, in New York City; he died after a brief illness at the Skiff hospital in Newton on Saturday, Feb. 17, 1951.

Mr. Sinnott came to Iowa with his parents as a child and was raised on the Sinnott farm north of Collins.

In 1902 he was married to Anne Kielly, who had preceded him in death. The family lived for many years in Black Hawk county, Minneapolis and later in Colfax.

Surviving him are two daughter, Mrs. Anne Cavanaugh of Appleton, Wis., and Mrs. John Byron of Minneapolis, Minn., eight grandchildren and one brother, William Sinnott of Collins.
