THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, January 29, 1920, page 1, column 1. "DANIEL SWARM DEAD - John Swarm received a telegram last Friday announcing the death of his father, Daniel Swarm, which occurred Saturday, January 17th, at his home in Hamilton, Ind., at the age of ninety-one years, two months and a few days. Daniel Swarm formerly resided in this vicinity and will be remembered by the older residents, having moved away some years ago."
