Huxley Man Dead, a Victim of Heart Trouble

Huxley, July 6--INS--Richard P. Brendeland, 82, died at his home in Huxley Monday, July 5 after an extended illness during which time he had suffered from heart trouble and other complications.

He was born in Etna, Norway, in 1856 and came to America as a young man and with his wife had lived in or near Huxley during all his residence here.

He leaves besides his wife, a son Ole Brendeland and daughter Mrs. Bertha Christopher, also a brother and a sister in Norway and a sister, Mrs. Martha Olson at Randall.

The funeral and interment will be on Friday, with a prayer services at the home at 1:30 and the funeral at Palestine Lutheran church at 1:00 with Rev. Peter Buland in charge. Burial will be in the Palestine cemetery.
