Babbitt Infant Dies Shortly After Birth on Sunday

Paul Eugene Babbitt, Jr., born Sunday morning, Nov. 1, in the Story County Hospital to Lt. and Mrs. Paul Eugene Babbitt, died shortly after birth.

Funeral arrangements are pending getting word to the father, Lt. Babbitt who is stationed in the Aleutian Island and is being sought through the American Red Cross.

Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens south of Ames with the Rev. W. S. Tuttle of the Nevada Christian church, officiating.

The mother is the former Nellie Lou Upton of Ames, formerly of Nevada. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George Upton of Ames and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Babbit of Nevada.
