Carmody Funeral Services at Zearing
Zearing, June 24--Relatives and friends that filled St. Gabriel's church were gathered here Friday for the funeral mass and interment of Stephen Carmody, 62, longtime resident of this community, who died at his home here Tuesday. The service was in charge of Rev. Fr. Frien of St. Anthony, pastor of St. Gabriel's and interment was in the family lot in St. James cemetery, Colo.
Pall bearers were William Sinnott, William Eddy, John Varnum, William Schuler, Roy Pulley and William Gogerty all old time friends and neighbors.
Among those from Nevada in addition to the sister Mrs. John Moroney and husband, were Mrs. Ann O'connell and daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Wells, Mr. and Mrs. John Hopkins and daughter Blanche, Bert B. Welty, Tom Foley, Miss Margaret Foley and John Fitzgerald.
Relatives from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. John Carmody and son John Jr. of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Hopkins of Mason City, Mrs. M. E. Carmody of Perry, Harry Creal of Perry, Mrs. Anna Yankee and son Harold of Zanesville, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Barr and daughters Florence and Mildred of Ames and Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Clinite and son John and Mrs. E. J. Warden of Des Moines.
