THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, September 27, 1900, page 1, column 2. "Cory Grove - Morris H. Spring, the eighteen month old son of Bert and Annie Spring, died September 20th, at the residence of Ely Birds, one mile west of Elkhart. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. I. M. T. Cory."
