OBITUARY OF MRS. CLARA OLSON

Clara Mae Twedt Olson, daughter of Joe and Ellen Twedt, was born in Roland, Iowa on Aug. 12, 1889 and passed away in Bryant Nursing Home, State Center, Iowa, on Nov. 18, 1973 at the age of 84 years.

She was baptized and confirmed in Salem Lutheran Church in Roland, Iowa and remained a life-long member of Salem.

She was married to Herbert Olson on Nov. 19, 1911.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who passed away on April 21, 1972 and by two brothers, Josiah and Alfred.

She is survived by two sisters, Sarah, Mrs. Ray Peck of Sun Valley, Calif. and Anna Mae Aaresmith of Upland, Calif., also several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held in Salem Lutheran Church, Roland, Iowa, Wednesday, November 21 with Pastor Everett Nelson officiating. Mrs. Loren Twedt sang two songs, "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "In the Garden."

Interment was in the Roland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arthur Shold, Twedt Hanson, Orvis Anderson, Richard Strum, Andrew Bakke and Ervin Anderson.
