MRS. BELLE TRACY

Mrs. Belle Tracy, 93, of St. Anthony and formerly of the Collins and Maxwell areas for many years, died Tuesday, Sept. 18 at State Center Manor in State Center after an illness of seven weeks.

She was born Oct. 26, 1879 in Fulton County, Ill. the daughter of Thomas and Melinda Jones and married Peter V. Tracy of Maxwell Jan. 10, 1900.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1909, her parents, one daughter, three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Julia) Lyons of St. Anthony; Mrs. Charles (Josephine) Shearer of Nevada, Mrs. Frank (Minnie) Pfrang of St. Anthony and one son, Thomas of Davenport, two brothers, John Jones of Newton and Hubert Jones of State Center and one sister, Mrs. Cread (Vilda) Wilson of Westport, Wash.; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church in St. Anthony with Rev. Cecil Mc Sweeney officiating. Brouhard Funeral Home in Zearing is in charge of arrangements. Bible vigil services will be held Thursday evening at 8 p.m.
