Funeral Services To be Thurs. for Mrs. Lee Shickell

Mrs. Lee Shickell of Nevada died at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday at Leola's Guest Home where she had been a patient the past two years. She was 94 years of age.

She was born Mabel Corke, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Corke September 20, 1872 in Illinois. She moved to Story County, Iowa and lived there nearly her entire life.

Mrs. Shickell was a member of the EUB-Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, William, Marion and Lloyd Shickell, all of Nevada; one daughter Mrs. Leilia Grimes of Fillmore, Indiana; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and her husband Lee who died in 1957.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery, Iowa Center.
