Jerald Borwick, 41, Dies In Motel In Cedar Falls Monday
Jerald L. Borwick, 41, a Roland resident, died of a heart attack about 5:45 p.m. Monday at a motel in Cedar Falls. Borwick was in Cedar Falls taking training course offered by the D-X Sunray Oil Co. in preparation of Borwick's opening of a D-X Station in Colo.
He was born November 10, 1924, on a farm south of Roland, the son of Henry and Amy Borwick. He was a veteran of World War II and was past manager of the Roland Farmers Co-Operative Elevator Association.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland with Rev. Howard Lybeck officiating. Burial will be in the Roland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Soderstrum Funeral Home in Roland from Wednesday evening until noon Friday.
Survivors are his wife, Anna Harriett Borwick, his mother, Mrs. Amy Borwick of Roland, two sisters, Lucille (Mrs. Robert Friest) of Radcliffe and Clarice (Mrs. James Knutson) of Cambridge.
