Although her health was failing for some time she never complained and performed her many tasks in her kindly pleasant way endearing herself to al who were privileged to work with her.

Her condition became alarming a week ago and she was taken to the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines where every thing possible was done to strengthen the weakness of her heart but to no avail, and at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday she passed from this life, leaving a sadden community.

Many relatives and friends from a distance were present at the services Thursday afternoon to pay their last respects to one whom they had known and loved.
