Carl Switzer Dead; Funeral Sunday

Story City, June 3 Funeral services for Carl Switzer, 72, lifelong resident of this community, who died at his farm home south of town Friday of cancer, were held Sunday afternoon at Grace Evangelical church, with Rev. G. L. Bergeman in charge. Burial was in Des Moines.

Mr. Switzer was born on a farm three mile south of Story City and had lived on his present place for the past 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Ralph, San Antonio, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. August Lindahl, Des Moines; three brothers, August, Gilbert; Theodore, San Antonio, and John, Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Blink, Nevada; Mrs. Adeline Mesha, Ames, and Mrs. Louise Shriner [should be Schreiner], Correctionville.
