THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 10, 1921, page 1, column 5. "ROBERT GEORGE PRITCHARD. - Robert George Pritchard, infant son of F. G. and Mabel Pritchard, was born in Polk county, Iowa, December 16, 1920, and having, with his twin brother, William, contracted the whooping cough, after a valiant struggle, succumbed to the ravages of that malady and died February 2, 1921, aged seven weeks. All that loving service could do was done but Robert was too frail to stand the ordeal and departed to be with William, who preceded him by three weeks. He leaves his loving parents, four sisters, Beatrice, Arlene, Virginia and Rose Etta; his four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pritchard and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hand, with several uncles and aunts and numerous other relatives to mourn his early departure. The funeral service was held at the home Thursday, February 3rd, Rev. J. C. McCain in charge. The burial was in the Collins cemetery. A whole community deeply sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. Pritchard in the loss of their twin boys." "Cards of Thanks. - We wish we could tell how grateful we are to our neighbors for their incessant service rendered us during the entire time of the illness and death of Robert George. F. G. Pritchard and family."
