THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, March 7, 1963, page 1, column 6. "HERTZ K. POORBAUGH - Funeral services for Hertz K. Poorbaugh, 88, of Riverside, California, and former resident of this community, who passed away Feb. 26, were held Sunday, March 3, at 2:30 p.m., at the Cooper Funeral Home, with Rev. Max Hall officiating. Dale Scott and Mary Munson furnished the music. Willien Norton and Ruth Link had charge of the floral sprays. Casket bearers were Russell and Richard Link, C. H., Bela, John and Robert Norton. Interment was in the Farrar Cemetery."
