AREA DEATHS

MRS. MARTHA J. LARSON

Mrs. Martha J. Larson of Story City, age 88, died Thursday at Story City Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 13, 1884 southwest of Story City to Jacob O. and Ingeri Jacobson. She married Norman Larson July 28, 1915. He died Sept. 3, 1942.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 26 at 2 p.m. from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City with Rev. C. A. Gisselquist officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Harold of Santa Barbara, California; one sister, Mrs. Guy (Cornelia) Rod of Story City Bethany Manor; four grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
