AREA DEATHS

MRS. JESSIE AKERS LACEY

Mrs. Jessie Akers Lacey of Harrison Haven Nursing Home here died this morning at the Story County Hospital where she had been for the past three days. She was 76.

Born June 29, 1896 at Lamoni, she was the daughter of Spencer G. and Susan Mae Akers. She had lived in Nevada for the past 60 years and was ill for the past four years.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Briggs of Anita and Miss LaJune and Miss Lua Akers of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and her husband Grover Lacey.

Funeral services are pending at the Ryan Funeral Home.
