THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, March 26, 1931, page 1. "…Mrs. Hutchinson was born in Woodford county, Illinois, near El Paso, February 27, 1879, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Bodger. She came with her people to Story county, Iowa, 35 years ago and located on the Bodger homestead, northwest of Maxwell. She attended school at Drake University at Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated form the school of oratory of that university in June 1902. She was baptized by Dr. I. N. McCash and united with the University Church of Christ, at Des Moines, about March 1901. She was married to M. C. Hutchinson, a minister, June 16, 1904. Rev. and Mrs. Hutchinson made their home in various places, including Coon Rapids, Panora, Missouri Valley and Burlington, Iowa; Fulton, Mo.; New York City and Wellsville, N. Y., going from the latter place about 12 years ago to Hollywood, California, where their home has since been. She leaves her husband and four children. One grown son, Max, lives in Hollywood, California, while the next, Ernest, is a student at Drake University, at Des Moines, Iowa. As soon as Ernest learned of the serious condition of his mother, he took passage in an airplane and arrived at her bedside just a few minutes before she passed away. There are two other children, Murvill, aged 10 years, and Floy Elaine age 8 years. She also leaves two brothers, F. V. Bodger, of Des Moines, and Ray W. Bodger, of Nevada, Iowa. Mrs. Hutchinson was a former resident of this community and is well and favorably known here by the older residents. Life will never be quite the same to those who knew her, while those who were nearest to her will long for her with unutterable longings - long for a mother's counsel and advice, and a wife's gentle and loving sympathy. But her life has passed into the joy of her Lord and the memory of her life must prove a perpetual inspiration for those who knew her best."
