Services Monday For Mrs. Tollefson

Funeral services for Mrs. Milla Tollefson were held from the Ryan Funeral Home Monday at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Leonard Franz officiating.

Melvin Skaret of Ames sang two songs, The Lord's Prayer and "We Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone." Mrs. Richard Benson accompanied at the organ.

Many flowers banked the front of the chapel.

The casket bearers were Byron Anderson, Marion Eacret, Roger Engen, Arnold Larson, Paul Severson and Don Tollefson.

Burial was in the family lot in the Cambridge cemetery.

Obituary

Milla Larson Tollefson of Nevada died Thursday evening, Oct. 24, 1957 at the Story County Hospital after a 10 day illness.

Mrs. Tollefson was born May 25, 1872 at Cambridge, Iowa, the daughter of Jonas and Sina Larson, who spent their entire life in Story county. She married Tom Tollefson on May 28, 1892 at Cambridge, Iowa.

She was a member of the Nevada Christian Tabernacle, teaching the adult Bible class for many years.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Sina Severson of Ames, Mrs. Tilma Severson of Madera, Calif., Mrs. Fern Kellogg of Nevada, Mrs. Lenora Eacret of Nevada, Mrs. Jessie Hubbard of Nevada.

Three sons, Floyd Tollefson of Huxley, Sheldon of Sergeant Bluffs and Tillet of Detroit, Mich.

Four sisters also survive her, Mrs. Hilda Ekrem of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Sylvia Anderson of Cambridge, Mrs. Cora Larson of Cambridge and Mrs. Ella Engen of Slater. Two brothers, Tennis Larson of Ames and Albert Larson of Cambridge, also 19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tom who passed away March 30, 1934, one infant daughter and four brothers and three sisters.
