M'CALLSBURG YOUNG MAN DIES SUDDENLY
Casper Fagerland Passed Away at 7:30 Last Tuesday Evening
Casper Fagerland was born near Roland on Nov. 10th, 1891 and died at McCallsburg Tuesday Feb. 24th, 1914 aged 22 years 3 months and 14 days.
Casper has not been in the best of health for some time, but nothing serious had been anticipated. On Tuesday evening shortly after partaking of supper, he complained of being ill and a call was sent to a nearby doctor, but before the arrival of the doctor the young man had expired. Heart disease was the cause of his death. He lived with his mother in McCallsburg.
The Fagerland family were former residents of Roland where they made their home until 1901 when they moved to McCallsburg. The young man had been following the occupation of painting and paper hanging for the past two years and he is reported as being an industrious workman.
He leaves besides his mother, two brothers, Conrad Fagerland, Sam Bakka and a host of firends to mourn his death.
The funeral services will be conducted in the Bergen church at McCallsburg on Friday at 1 o'clock p.m. Interment will take [place in the Roland Cemetery. Rev. Lerud will have charge of the services.
