Pearl Harrison Services Held In Cambridge Church
CAMBRIDGE Funeral services for Pearl Harrison were held Monday at 2 P. M. from the United Bible church in Cambridge with Rev. Le Roy Sargent in charge assisted by Rev. Alvin Sneller.
Mrs. Keith Lyon and Mrs. Eldon Lyon sang two hymns "Good Night Here and Good Morning Up There" and "Beyond the Sunset" accompanied on the piano by Joan Lyon.
The flowers were cared for by Mrs. Wrex Clawson and Mrs. John Scott. Casket bearers were Wrex Clawson, Neil Sesker, Raleigh Rumbaugh, Wayne Heintz, Raymond Kahler and Guy Jennings.
Interment was in the Cambridge cemetery.
Obituary
Pearl Harrison, son of William T. and Dora Harrison was born at Cambridge, June 24, 1899 and passed away at the Story County hospital in Nevada on March 1. He was married to Clara Wydell on August 4, 1920. She died in 1926.
On March 20, 1935 he was united in marriage to Opal Jones.
Surviving are his wife Opal, two sons Palmer of Arcadia, Calif., Kenneth of Cambridge, three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Hills of Marshalltown, Mrs. Basil Fry of Cambridge and Sharon at home, eight grandchildren, his father William T. Harrison, three brothers, Leonard and Harry of Cambridge, Eugene of Marshalltown, two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Glidden of Ames, and Mrs. Doris Kilby of Des Moines.
His mother preceded him in death.
