Mrs. I. N. Smith

Mrs. Murella Jane Smith died Thursday, May 25, 1911, at her home in the Dalton neighborhood, and her funeral was conducted at Iowa Center on Saturday, the 27th, by Rev. Zike of Collins, with interment under the auspices of the Royal Neighbors of Colo and the Mystic Workers of Collins. Her age was nearly forty eight. She was born in Carroll county, Illinois, of Simon P. and Elizabeth Rinehart; came to Story county when a child; was married in 1880 in I. N. Smith at Colo; and leaves two children, Mrs. Edna Hickman and Curtiss Smith, besides her parents, her brother, Sherman Rhinehart, and her sisters, Mrs. Lillian Schoonover of Colo; Mrs. Art Coughenor of Maxwell; Mrs. Mary Carver and Mrs. Jessie Flemming. Several relatives from a distance attended the funeral.
