Martin Fronsdahl Rites Held May 4; Had Slater Niece

Mrs. W. B. McBride and Mrs. Ralph Ray went to Boone Monday afternoon, May 4, where they attended the funeral services for Mrs. McBride's cousin, Martin Fronsdahl, at Wilen's Chapel.

Obituary

N. Martin Fronsdahl was born in Sheldahl, a son of the late Christopher and Bertha Fronsdahl. With his family, he moved to Slater where he grew up and attended the public schools. He died on Tuesday, April 28 in the William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso, Texas. In ill health for the past year or more, he was hospitalized in Texas April 4.

Mr. Fronsdahl was a retired superintendent of the signal department of the Fort Dodge, Des Moines Railway Co. with a record of 46 years of service. He was 78 years old at the time of death.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the various Masonic orders.

Survivors include his widow, Florence, of Boone; a daughter, Mrs. W. J. (Wanda) Schwoerer, Piedmont, Calif., a son, Major Donald Fronsdahl of El Paso, Texas; a granddaughter; two brothers, Milford and Chester and a sister, Mrs. Ecith Conyers.

Interment was in Linwood Cemetery in Boone with Masonic graveside rites.
