Funeral Services Held Thursday for Hans Fronsdahl

Slater, June 9 -- Funeral services for Hans Fronsdahl were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Riis funeral home. The services were in charge of Rev. P. E. Onstad, pastor of the Bethlehem Lutheran church. Two solos "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Tonk Naar Engang," were sung by Rev. Onstad, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Harold Croft. Rev. Onstad conducted a brief prayer service.

The pall bearers were: Tollef Dueland of Nevada, Chester Dueland of Huxley, Oscar Johnson and Harry Johnson of Sheldahl, Joe Elders of Cambridge and W. B. McBride of Slater.

Burial was made in the Bethlehem cemetery.

Hans Fronsdahl was born March 29th, 1884 at Sheldahl and died at the Story county home near Nevada, June 2 at the age of 63 years, 2 months and 4 days. His parents were Christ and Bertha Fronsdahl. He moved with his family to Slater in 1905 and made his home here since working at various jobs in and around Slater. His father died in 1911 and since that time had made his home with his mother. Two brothers and one sister also preceded him in death. He is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Bertha Fronsdahl, one sister, Mrs. Edith Conyers of Fulton, Ill., four brothers, Martin Fronsdahl of Boone, Atlant Fronsdahl of Woodward, Milford Fronsdahl of Des Moines and Chester Fronsdahl and a number relatives and friends.
