THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, August 26, 1971, page 1, column 3. "LOLA M. GARLOCK - Funeral services for Lola M. Garlock, 87, were held on Thursday, August 19, at 10:30 a.m., at the Loring Evangelical United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dale Ellsworth officiating. Miss Garlock passed away on Monday and is survived by her sister, Mrs. Ray Ashba of Storm Lake and three nieces. Miss Lori Eatwell furnished the music. The floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Madge Brooke and Mrs. Clara Edwards. Casket bearers were Geo. Edwards, Richard Severske, Creede Brooke, Wally Fuller, John Cairns and Horace Scott. Interment in the Loring Mt. Zion Cemetery."
