Funeral Services for Little Pauline Young
The auditorium of the Nevada Methodist Episcopal church was nearly filled Thursday afternoon with relatives and friends gathered to attend the funeral services for little Pauline Young, of southwest of Nevada, who died at the family home Tuesday, age one year, 1 month and 21 days. The service was conducted by Rev. Geo. A. Lawton of that church and interment was in the Nevada cemetery. The pastor in his obituary said "for more than thirteen months this beautiful blossom brightened the home where God permitted her to stay for short time. We know that God gives and God takes away. Though it is hard to give them up we believe that out little ones are safe in the arms of Jesus. A large circle of friends join in extending their sympathy to those who mourn their loss."
The child leaves her fond parents, two sisters, Evelyn and Dorothy, her four grandparents and on great-grandmother, Mrs. Emma Taylor.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Pauline Alyce Young was the daughter of Lloyd A. Young and Elva Emerson.
