THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, December 11, 1902, page 5, column _. "The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. John fields died Monday morning, being only six weeks old. The funeral was conducted at the house on Tuesday, by Rev. O. F. Shaw, and the remains were interred in the Maxwell cemetery. Two more of Mr. and Mrs. Fields' children are also ill but it is hoped they may soon recover. The family has the sincere sympathy of many friends in this their time of great bereavement."
