Rites in Salt Lake City For Mrs. Ida Bartlett
Funeral services were held Jan. 12 at Salt Lake City, Utah, for Mrs. Ida L. Bartlett, 92, a former Cambridge resident.
Mrs. Bartlett, daughter of James and Sarah Foy Kirk, was born Nov. 22, 1858. She was married to William H. Walker on Oct. 14, 1877, at Nevada. Mr. Walker died in 1891 and Mrs Walker opened a dress making shop in York, Neb.
From 1893 until 1897 she served as postmistress at Cambridge. On Nov. 3, 1897, she was united in marriage to A. W. Bartlett in Cambridge. They moved to Colorado, where he passed away on March 15, 1920.
In 1924, she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she lived the remainder of her life.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dora Miller of Springville, Ia., and Mrs. Peggy Brown of Salt Lake City; one son, William C. Walker of Salt Lake Cit; one grandchild; five brothers, Edward Kirk, Redding, Calif., Charles Kirk, Orland, Calif., Carl Kirk, Los Angeles and Bert and Frank Kirk, living in Iowa and three sisters, Mrs. Hartley Elliott of Cambridge, Mrs. Lou Hendrickson of Los Angeles and Mrs. Minnie Robinson of Sylvia, Ill.
Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Salt Lake City.
