AREA DEATHS

Roscoe Pritchard

Roscoe Pritchard, 91, of 1319 5th St., Nevada, died Saturday at 11:45 p.m. at the Story County Hospital.

Mr. Pritchard has been ill for the past two weeks.

Born April 4, 1881 at Collins, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pritchard. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Nevada for 28 years.

He was married to Elsie Berns February 28, 1923.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie; a daughter, Mrs. Chester Bills of Nevada; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.

Mr. Pritchard was a member of the Lutheran Church and was a 50-year Mason.

Funeral services will be held from the Memorial Lutheran Church Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Glendale Cemetery at Des Moines.

There will be a Masonic Service at the Ryan Funeral Home Monday at 7:30 p.m.
