THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, November 2, 1939, page 1. "EVERETT DUNAHOO PASSED AWAY MONDAY - Everett Dunahoo, 34, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Major Dunahoo, passed away at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital, in Des Moines, shortly after noon, Monday. He is survived by his wife, his parents and one sister and brother, Mrs. Arlo Hays, of Nevada, and Merrill Dunahoo. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church with the Rev. Le Loss Marken, of Des Moines, in charge. Interment in the Iowa Center cemetery. Committal services will be in charge of the Masonic order of which the deceased was a member."
