THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 10, 1916, page 4. "S. W. Denniston received a telegram Tuesday noon stating that his brother, L. C. Denniston, died that morning at his home in Union City, Ind. Mr. Denniston and daughter, Mrs. Will Hay, left on the night train to be in attendance at the funeral."
