THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 21, 1901, page 5, column 4. "Grant Cooper and son, Earl left Thursday for Scandia, Kansas, called there by the illness of the formers sister, Mrs. Dora Coleman. Word received from him later, stated that she had passed away at 11 a. m., Friday, a few hours after their arrival."
