Last Rites For Frank Fish at Cambridge Church
Funeral services for Frank Fish were held Friday at 2 p. m. from the Cambridge E.U.B. church with Rev. Gayle Geisler, pastor of the deceased, officiating.
Mrs. Arnold Nerness sang "Lead Kindly Light" and "The Old Rugged Cross" accompanied by Mrs. Dyer at the piano.
The casket bearers were Kenneth Wilson, Jack Bullard, Harry Hutton, John Thorson, Frank Griffith and Victor Sloniger. Burial was in the Cambridge cemetery.
Obituary
Frank Fish was born at Collins, Iowa, Oct. 24, 1869 and passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20 in his home at the age of 80 years. He came to Cambridge to work for one week and remained 42 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years.
Those who have known Mr. Fish will remember him as a very quiet man in whom there was no strife.
Surviving are his wife, Alta of Cambridge, one son Clarence Fish of Welcome, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Allen of Fort Worth, Texas and Mrs. V. V. Hicks of Eldora; two sisters, Mrs. Luella Watson and Mrs. Minerva Scott and one brother, Will Beard. He also leaves to mourn his death seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
