THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE Maxwell, Story County, Iowa Thursday, July 27, 1972, page 1. "Bert H. Bell 84, native of Maxwell, died Tuesday, July 18, at Brandon, Fla. Mr. Bell was a used car dealer in Des Moines, previous to his moving to Brandon, eight years ago. Born June 3, 1888, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bell. Survivors include his wife, Elsie, one son, Robert of Brandon, two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Jackson of Tampa and Mrs. Betty Jean Golszanski of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Services were held at the Cooper Funeral Home, Sunday, at 2 p.m. with burial in the Peoria Cemetery south of Maxwell."
