Hold Final Services For Mrs. Anna Bauge

Funeral services for Mrs Anna Bauge, who passed away in the --lia and Geraldine Nursing Home in Ames on Sunday, were held Wednesday, Jan. 11, from the Palestine Lutheran church after a short service at the Adams Chapel in Ames.

DeWayne Wee was at the organ and played softly as the members ---- the procession took their ---ces.

Rev. Stoutland was the officiating pastor and Rev. Buland, former pastor of the deceased and friend of the family gave a short talk.

Vocal music was by Mrs. Selmer Westvold, who sang "Abide With Me" at the opening of the service and at the closing sang the Norwegian favorite, "Den Store Hvide Flok."

Memorial gifts were received by the Children's Home in Ames, mission, Sunset Home and Palestine church.

Pall bearers were six sons of the deceased, Nels, Abner, Ted, Marion, Albert and Elden.

Interment was in Palestine cemetery, beside the husband who passed away several years ago.

Obituary

Mrs. Bauge was the daughter of Andrew and Rachel Fjelland, of near Huxley. She was born Dec. 20, 1870, and passed away on Jan. 8, 1950, having reached the age of 79 years and 19 days. Preceding her in death were her parents, five sisters and one brother also her husband, Lars Bauge, and one daughter, Mrs. Knute (Nellie) Bjelland. Two children passed away in infancy.

Survivors

She is survived by seven sons Arthur of Washington state, Nels, Abner, Marion, Ted and Albert of the Huxley vicinity and Elden of -----d; five daughters, Mrs. George (Rachel) Anderson of Huxley, Mrs. John (Alma) Severeid of Cambridge, Mrs. Amiel (Randa) Olson of Ames, Mrs. ---- (Alice) Rector of Minnesota, and Mrs. Robert (Leda) Barrie of Hollywood, Calif., and 22 grandchildren; also three brothers, Tom Fjelland of Sumner, Wash., and ----- Andrew Fjelland of Huxley and a host of relatives and friends.
