Death Follows Operation

Paul Kalvig, a former resident of Scnott township died following an operation for appendicitis at a hospital at Kenyon, Minn., last Sunday. Mr. Kalvig had been in the best of health until he was suddenly taken sick last week and an operation performed but peritonitis set in and death followed as stated on Sunday. He leaves his wife and eight children to mourn his untimely death. The funeral was held yesterday at Kenyon. Mesdames Henry and George Cole and Louis Charlson left Tuesday to be present at the funeral. Mrs. Kalvig is a cousin of the Cole brothers of this place and the family is known to a large number of people here.
