J. A. Fitchpatrick Dead

Hon. J. A. Fitchpatrick, 81, of Nevada, who had been confined to his home since a year ago last November, and who had been in a critical condition and his death expected hourly since last Wednesday, passed away Monday evening.

The funeral services were from Central Presbyterian church on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 being in charge of his pastor, Rev. J. George Wals and other ministers of that denomination.

Transcriber note: He was buried in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada, Story County, Iowa. His marker reads: Joseph Andrew FITCHPATRICK Oct 17 1840 - Feb 5 1922 Co E 3rd Iowa Vol Inft (GAR).
