The First Death at the College

Wednesday night, during the Junior exhibition exercises at the College, A. L. Pugh, a member of the Junior class, died. Mr. Pugh had been ill for about two weeks, although no one supposed his illness to be of an alarming nature. He was about twenty years of age, of correct, exemplary and studious habits. His remains were sent at once to his friends in Dallas county. This is the first death ever occurring at the College or on College grounds.
