Maxwell Rites

Services were held in the afternoon, at 2:30 for Marilyn Maxwell, 17, with Rev. G. H. Hulsebus, pastor of the church, in charge.

The floral tributes were most beautiful and profuse.

Pall bearers were Jack Yungclas, Richard Barnes, Wallace Threlkeld, Harold Schauper, Dick Hudson and Murray Hill.

Marilyn Maxine Maxwell, daughter of Martin Maxwell and Irma Hennick Maxwell, was born Oct. 3, 1932, in the North Grant neighborhood. Marilyn's early childhood was spent in Nevada. The family moved to the Maxwell neighborhood in 1939.

Marilyn was a tall, blonde and talented girl. She was admired by all who knew her for her charm and capability. She was especially active in the field of music in the Maxwell High school and had served as drum majorette for the past several years. She would have graduated from high school on May 25 with an outstanding scholastic rating.

Marilyn's untimely death was the result of an automobile collision that occurred near Cambridge on Friday morning, April 28.
