RALPH COUGHENOUR WAS LAID TO REST

POPULAR YOUNG MAN WHO DIED THURSDAY WAS BURIED SUNDAY.

Funeral services for Ralph Coughenour, 23, who died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Coughenour northeast of Iowa Center, Thursday afternoon, were held at the church at Iowa Center Sunday afternoon at bill of this city. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery at Iowa Center.

In spite of the almost impassable condition of the roads there was a large attendance of old neighbors and friends joined with members of the family in paying their final tribute of respect to the memory of the young man who was held in such high esteem by all.

Ralph Coughenour was born on the old homestead June 28, 1901 and died there March 27, 1924, following a brief illness which terminated in pneumonia death following.

He was a quiet, unassuming young man who was held in the highest esteem by those who knew him, his death will be deeply mourned by his family as well as by a wide circle of friends.

He leaves to mourn his untimely death his parents, two brothers, Ray and Rollin and a sister, Velda, besides a large number of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
