ROYAL M. BRIGGS

Royal M. Briggs, 76, of Iowa Falls, died Monday, May 35, 1981 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

He was born in Nevada on Jan. 5, 1905, the son of Edgar and Elizabeth Dierks Briggs. He lived in Nevada until 1945.

Mr. Briggs was employed by Iowa Electric Light and Power. He was a member of the Nevada Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.

He is survived by hi wife, Maxine Nicola of Iowa Falls; two sons, Barry of Jewell and Richard of Grundy Center; and by five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at the Surls Funeral Home, Iowa Falls. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
