Funeral Services Held Here Sunday for Mrs. Ben Edwards
Funeral rites for Mrs. Benjamin F. Edwards, 45, of 1720 Fifth street who died at the University hospital, on Friday, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the Evangelical church, with the pastor Rev. Theodore Yachel in charge.
There were two songs "The Old Rugged Cross," and "Jesus, Saviour Pilot Me," sang by Mrs. Kenneth Rapp with Mrs. Yackel as accompanist.
The church was well filled with relatives, friends and neighbors who had gathered to pay a final tribute of respect to the deceased. Beautiful floral offerings banked the bier and later covered the grave in the Nevada cemetery where she was laid to rest.
