Woman Suicided By Hanging Self In Barn

Special to the Journal:
Cambridge, May 31--Mrs. Andrew Erickson, 56, farm wife and mother of eight children, all but two of them at home, was found dead this morning, suspended by a rope from a rafter in the barn on the farm a mile east of Cambridge, by the thirteen year old daughter, Clara.

Mrs. Erickson had not been well for some time and it was realized that her mind had been weakening.

She leaves besides her husband, three daughters and three sons at home, one daughter in Chicago and a son in Des Moines.

The office of Sheriff McGriff in Nevada was called and he in turn called Coroner Guy Mills of McCallsburg, but after the officers had driven down and investigated the situation, it was decided that an inquest was not necessary.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to her death record, Albertina Josephine (Carlson) Erickson's parents were Carl Johnson and Augusta (unknown.)
