Trenton Joseph Litke, also fondly known as TJ, age 29, of Nevada, Iowa, formerly of Arkansas, passed away on Sunday evening, August 4th.

Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10th at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home, 1209 Iowa Avenue West, Marshalltown, IA. Services to celebrate his life and cherish his memory will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Born on November 16th, 1989, in Springdale, Arkansas, he was the son of William “Bill” and Jody (Robbins) Litke. He graduated from the Bentonville, Arkansas HS in 2008.

On October 6th, 2018, he married the love of his life, Hannah Corbin, who came to Arkansas on an internship. He asked her out four times- which she declined- and the fifth time proved positive. If one could say “Love at first sight” this would be an example. They shared birthday’s four days apart and many of the same likes. He could always make her laugh!

The young couple moved to Iowa to be near her parents and he began to work for Reilly Construction out of Ossian, Iowa. He was recently promoted to equipment operator. He loved Iowa but also missed Arkansas. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family and friends, hunting, fishing, the Arkansas Razorbacks, playing jokes on people, music, drawing, jeep rides, fixing vehicles, grilling (especially chicken) and having a nice cold beer. He also treasured his fur babies and commanded a “colorful” vocabulary!

Left to cherish his memory are Hannah, his loving wife; his mother Jody Litke of Fayetteville, AR and dad- Bill Litke of Cave Springs, AR; sister Amber Litke of Fayetteville, AR; in-laws Ernie and Jennifer Corbin of Colo, IA; sister-in-law Emma Sease of Nevada, IA; grandma Joan Ard in New Mexico; nieces Brinlee Rose and Lillian Jayne; honorary brother James Dean Bowers of Pea Ridge, AR and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends near and far.

In death, Trenton joined his grandmother, Georgia and grandfather Jimmie Dean for their long-awaited reunion. His precious angel was also awaiting him at Heaven’s gates.
