Grave-side rites were held on Monday afternoon for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith of near Collins at the Evergreen cemetery. The babe was born Wednesday, July 2, and died Sunday, July 13. This was their first child and had been named Berkley Dean. The mother was the former Naomi White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lem R. White of Maxwell.
