Julie A. Boozell

Julie Ann Boozell, 30, of Des Moines died Feb. 19 at her home of complications of diabetes.

Boozell was born Nov. 19, 1959, in Nevada to Irven and Darlene Boozell. She was a former member of Nevada Assembly of God Church and was a Nevada resident until 1986.

She was preceded in death by three grandparents and one nephew. Survivors include her parents, five sisters, Vickie Roberts of Monroe, La, Kathy Buck, Deb Johnson and Cindy Sparks, all of Nevada, and Shirley Naatus of Story City, one maternal grandparent, Edith Morris of Des Moines, and one step-grandmother, Velma Boozell of Des Moines.

Friends may call at Chet Ryan Mortuary Feb. 22 noon to 9 p.m. with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Feb. 23 at 1_30 p.m. at Nevada Assembly of God Church with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Collins. A memorial fund has been established.
