Joe Sheffield, one of Howard townships old residents, died last Thursday of cancer from which he has suffered for the last two years. He was about 72 years old. He leaves a wife, three sons and one daughter. The funeral was held last Friday and he was laid to rest at the Sheffield cemetery.
