COUNTY CORRESPONDENCE

CAMBRIDGE.

Died at the hoe of her brother in Cambridge Sunday, December 17, 1905, Sarah Ann Elliott, aged about 57 years. The deceased had been a constant sufferer for a number of months past. Sometime ago she was taken to Des Moines where an operation was performed in the hopes of saving her life but all that medical skill, aided by the constant attention and devotion of loving hands in ministering to her wants could do proved to be of no avail for a greater power than human said it is enough come up higher. Through all the weeks and months of her suffering she did not murmur, or complain but bore it all patiently to the end. She leaves a large number of of relatives and a host of friends to mourn her departure and many will extend their sympathy to the afflicted ones in this sad hour. A form in the home has gone, a chair has been made vacant, but when the mists have all cleared way, we shall understand why these dark trials come upon us. God's will not ours be done. The funeral services were held at the White Oak church at 11 a. m. Tuesday and the remains laid to rest in the White Oak cemetery.
